Marine Environment Conference
Our Green School's Committee represented our school at the Green School's Marine Environment Conference in the Galway Bay Hotel. We were one of only 23 schools invited to attend. We are currently in our eight Green Flag Programme with the theme of Global Citizenship and the Marine Environment.

5 Flags Flying!
Our school has been in the Green Flag Programme for over 10 years. We have been awarded six Green Flags for our efforts at
- Waste Management - segregating and reducing waste
- Conserving Energy - especially electricity
- Reducing - Water Usage
- Promoting the use of Sustainable Travel on the school run - walking, cycling, car-pooling or taking the bus
- Biodiversity - caring for our environment
- Global Citizenship
