We welcomed Dee Deegan from Galway Art Academy to our school for Science Week this year. Dee is an Art Teacher and Creative Consultant who brought her workshop 'The importance of Science in Art' to the children of Kilnadeema. The children were fascinated by some of the links between Art and Science and finished up the workshop by completing some bridges from sticks. They created some wonderful pieces!

On the 23rd of November , we welcomed Lindsay Deeley, owner and founder of Toodlelou Creativity Lab– A hands-on creative STEM creation space for young children.
She did many interesting and exciting experiments with the children in all classes. The children seemed to really enjoy the workshops and learned a lot throughout the day.
